With more than 45 dynamic presenters and 17 vendors, the event created powerful opportunities for networking, inspiration, and business growth. During this landmark occasion, Pinnacle was also honored to present the prestigious Pinnacle Award to Shawn Fair, founder of the Leadership Experience Tour, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to leadership and personal development. Bringing together voices from across the United States and Canada, the tour continues to motivate, educate, and transform audiences both in person and virtually, and Pinnacle was proud to be a part of its impact. On February 8, 2023, Pinnacle Advisory Services led a staff retreat at Top Golf for the dedicated team of the Day Services Center, which provides essential support to individuals experiencing homelessness. Facilitated by Nabavi Oliver, Esq., the training centered on aligning staff around the Why, How, and What of their mission, clarifying culture as the why, hospitality as the how, and service delivery as the what. Through interactive exercises, role plays, and team alignment activities, participants examined how communication, tone, and intentional actions define excellence in the delivery of services and support. The session reinforced the Day Services Center’s commitment to excellence as the standard, rooted in values such as accountability, open communication, advocacy, continuous learning, and adaptability. By distinguishing service from hospitality, “service is black and white, but hospitality is in full color,” staff left with a clearer vision of how to embody the Center’s mission and deliver consistent, compassionate, and impactful experiences for the individuals and families they serve.

In September, we will host Resilience Ready, an interactive online workshop designed to help participants transform challenges into opportunities for growth. Guided by our signature EPPS Model, attendees learned practical tools for navigating stress, making confident decisions, and resolving conflict with clarity. Each participant created their own “Emotional Essentials” card during the session and left with a five-step strategy checklist for building emotional strength in real-life situations.
